OfficePartners360 is a major provider of customer service, technical support, and administrative functions with a commitment to invest in the communities where it operates. In consistency with its Global Social Responsibility, OP360 recently conducted a successful Adopt-a-School Program that resulted in the company making a financial donation to a beneficiary school based in the Philippines.

What is the Adopt-A-School Program – Dave Highbloom provides an overview

According to the Chief Administrative Officer of OfficePartners360, Dave Highbloom, the school that finally received the donation is Don Vicente Rama Memorial Elementary School-Special Education Center. According to him, Don Vicente was one of the eight schools in the Cebu Province to be nominated as the beneficiary school. The other schools were Toong Integrated School, Estaca Integrated School, Hipodromo Elementary School, Bulacao Community School, Area Vocational Rehabilitation Center, Inayawan Night High School, and Kamanggahan Elementary School.

Each of these schools presented a priority project for which the donation would be deployed. The management team of OP360 chose the winner, Don Vicente because this school caters to special needs children. This school will use the grant to buy learning aids like multimedia projectors, a new sound system, television sets, and other necessities for the school.

Besides the above, OP360 also gave all nominee schools multiple computers as a surprise. He says that the company is optimistic that this donation will help students struggling during the age of the Pandemic.

Protecting its employees with vaccination

Speaking of the COVID-19 Pandemic, OP360 is serious about protecting its staff and employees. It recently vaccinated its first batch of employees. It was supported on-site by the company’s certified Safety & Health Officers and first aiders. Forty-two employees from OP360 received their first shot of Oxford-AstraZeneca on the 28th of May, 2021, at the Visayas Community Medical Center or VCMC. OP360 is the first BPO in Cebu City that has effectively inoculated its company employees.

The company successfully created its Registration Hub onsite for accepting documents so that they could be pre-verified by the Safety & Health Team. This quickened the time for processing and accelerated the time for employee vaccination.

Making the process comfortable

In order to make the vaccination process comfortable, OP360 distributed vaccination kits. Each kit had a water bottle, fan, biscuits, and a pen. Employees appreciated the above gesture by the company, especially during the hot summers in the Philippines, with temperatures soaring as high as 41 degrees Celsius.

OP360 also garnered appreciation and praise from hospital staff and passersby. Susan Eleanor S. Claro, the Hospital Administrator at VCMC, stated that the company’s endeavor was quite impressive as she had not seen another company doing all this for its employees.

Dave Highbloom also stated that employees also appreciated and praised the efforts of OP360 in their Post Vaccination Survey. They highlighted in general; the process was seamless and smooth. One of the employees, Joni Paez, vaccinated, commented that everyone was accommodating and very supportive during the process. Meanwhile, the rest of the employees took to social media to thank OP360 for vaccinating them against COVID-19.
